Safeway Application

Today the quickest and easiest way to pursue one’s Safeway application is through the online process. The Safeway online application is not very different from the Safeway applications people went through in the past, when they walked into the store and inquired about job vacancies. With the online system, however, applicants need not visit the store anymore to fill out a Safeway application form. A few clicks is all it takes to start what could be a rewarding, successful Safeway career not too far from home.

Processing the Safeway Application

To access a Safeway application online, visit Safeway.com and scroll down to the bottom of the home page to locate the company info tab. Click on careers to see the list of available job opportunities, usually found at the left-hand side of the page. After selecting the position and store location you want to apply for, click “apply now.” Also listed on the page are the various Safeway store locations with immediate openings. Carefully study the available vacancies alongside their respective store locations so you can find Safeway jobs that don’t just fit your qualifications but are also assigned at stores in or near your area of residence.

After determining your suitability for a particular Safeway position, click the “continue” button and proceed to the next step in the online application process. At this stage, you can choose the Safeway store location you wish to be assigned at and make sure that your application is forwarded to your chosen store. The system will ask you to decide how far you wish to work from home. Based on your answer, the system will provide a list of stores that best satisfy your location preferences and distance-to-home requirements. The length of the list will depend on the distance from home that you specified and the size of your city or area.

Once you have determined how far from home you are willing to work, you may then select the available position in that store that suits your requirements and qualifications.

You can easily go through the remaining steps of the application process. It is important that you answer all questions honestly and follow all instructions carefully. Click the mouse and you can rest assured that your Safeway application is well on its way to the location of your choice.
